Responsible Use & Safety Guidelines
Important information on legal compliance, storage, and mindful dosage.
Legal Responsibility
Cannabis laws vary significantly between countries and regions. Before preparing or consuming any cannabis-infused recipe, you are required to ensure compliance with the laws applicable in your jurisdiction. Use cannabis only where it is legally permitted.
All recipes on this website can be prepared without cannabis. Compliance with all applicable laws is solely your responsibility.
Safe Storage
At all times, ensure that all ingredients and infused products, including prepared edibles, are stored securely and kept out of reach of children and unintended third parties.
Cannabis-infused baked goods often resemble ordinary sweets. The same applies to infused butter, oils, or other preparations, which may be mistaken for regular ingredients.
- Clearly label all infused products.
- Do not leave infused items unattended.
- Store them separately from non-infused foods whenever possible. Accidental consumption must be prevented at all times.
Responsible Handling
Edibles contain psychoactive substances. What feels manageable to one person may be overwhelming or unsafe for another. Never provide edibles to anyone without clearly informing them of their contents.
Anyone consuming infused products must be fully aware of what they are consuming. Providing cannabis-infused food without someone’s knowledge is irresponsible and may lead to serious consequences, including impaired judgment, panic reactions, or accidents (for example, operating a vehicle under the influence).
Dosage
The dosage suggestions in the basic recipes and edible recipes are intended as guidance for a moderate and manageable experience. Everyone reacts differently. If you are new to edibles, start with a smaller amount than suggested. You can always take more later — but once consumed, the amount cannot be reduced.
Unlike inhaled cannabis, edibles have a delayed onset. Effects may take 30 to 120 minutes to become noticeable. For this reason, start with a low amount and wait sufficiently before considering additional consumption.
Consuming additional amounts before the full effects are felt significantly increases the risk of an overwhelming or distressing experience.
Food Safety
You are responsible for ensuring that all ingredients used are fresh, safe, and suitable for consumption. Proper hygiene, preparation, and storage practices must be followed to reduce the risk of foodborne illness or other health issues.
